Celebrating a new puppy | The Rogaski Family Session | Ponte Vedra Beach, FL

When original plans don't pan out

Back I'm the fall I was contacted by a good friend of mine, she had referred me to her friend and neighbor for family photos.  I sure love when that happens!  So we set a date, made our plans (we were going to head to Little Talbot Island for a family shoot at the boneyard beach) and waited for the day.  Unfortunately, the day before our shoot, one of their dogs passed away.  Our plan was no longer a plan.  We opted to wait for a better time.  She would let me know when they felt ready to proceed with the shoot.

An email from my client a few months later

We have a new puppy! We are ready to proceed with our family photos! We changed our plans a touch, since the new puppy would do better on a private beach.  Lucky for me her in laws had access to a private beach in Ponte Vedra, FL.  We would be able to limit the distractions for the new puppy, which is always helpful!  I met them out their for a sunset shoot and it was beautiful!  Our beaches here in Florida are still ruined to a degree from the hurricanes last year, but we embraced the erosion.  It is a part of living in FL after all.

This puppy was cute my friends

Is puppy the same thing as baby fever?  Because when I see a new puppy I always want one! Until I get home to my two large dogs I already have, that usually cures it.  Just scroll down for the fur ball love bug this puppy was, and the big sister golden retriever who has clearly had experience in posing for family photos.  Now, go check out some of my favorites from this family session in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL.

Do you have fur babies you want included in family photos?
