My goal is to capture your family as they are right now.  I want your clothing choices to contribute to the effort instead of deterring from it.  What does that mean? Well, keep it simple! Choose something classic that will still be in style for many years that won't detract from the emotions and interactions we are aiming to capture.  Choose coordinating colors of matching colors.  Patterns on the kids, or just one or two members of the family.  An accessory can make an outfit pop! Try a colorful scarf! Check out some of the families I photographed this year and their choice of outfits.

Feature 1

I love the fall feeling of these outfits.  Mom, Dad, and baby weren't wearing the same colors but they all coordinated nicely.  And only one pattern!

Feature 2

This family chose to stay away from patterns, but they didn't wear the same color either.  Little pops of navy on their boy and a pop of denim blue on dad tie this together beautifully.

Feature 3

I love how this family had mom and son in solid colors and added a layer of texture in the daughter's lace dress.  Then dad got to tie the colors together with a white and blue checkered shirt! A classic look.
